Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré I absolutely love The Prisoner of Azkaban. Rowling did a wonderful job and introduced lasting characters, characters people will always remember.

I've always enjoyed this book. It has a wonderful story and intriduces some of my favorite characters, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. Lupin was instantly likeable where as Black took some time to warm up to, of course this is understandable since he was supposed to be the bad guy and was acting a little crazy when we first came face to face with him. But even then, Black was an interesting character.

The writing was, as always, great. The book was well-paced and entertaining. It had the same magical Hogwarts feeling while at the same time being different. The characters were as entertaining as ever. I love the humor Ron always adds to the book even in some of the most serious of times.

All in all, this is a wonderful book that can be read over and over again.
