It seemed like in the begining of the book that the author was trying to tell the readers what Will can do now, which was great. I love Will just as much as before. It's awesome how Joh Flanagan gives you the new feeling while giving a bit of the old one at the same time.
As always the interaction between the characters is spectacular. I'm really glad that we get to see Halt in this book but it was a bit disappointing that we missed his graduation here. Luckily Flanagan revisits it in the seventh book!
It ended in a very spectacular fashion. The ending was PERFECT. I never felt like the book was dragging on, everything that was in it contributed to the plot and my enjoyment. In short, it was great!
