Eldest - Christopher Paolini Again, it's been forever since I read this book so I don't remember much. There was more description in this book than in Eragon, which isn't good. It seems like the longer this series lasts, the more description Paolini adds.

This book kind of ruined Murtagh for me. He was my favorite character in the first books. So I was kind of sad that Paolini turned him into this little wimp who can't choose anything for himself. I hope Murtagh turns good by the end of the Cycle but part of me doesn't because I don't want to be stuck with wimpy Murtagh at the end of the Cycle.

Despite my criticism, I did like this book. It was great! I wouldn't say it was better than Eragon, but I wouldn't say it was worse either.
